What to Expect During Construction

We are excited to bring your project to life! The following information is intended to set clear expectations so you know what to expect once construction begins.

Our Schedule

Our normal construction hours are:

Monday – Thursday
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our team works four longer days each week to maximize productivity.

Dedicated to Your Project

One of the things that sets Flow Landscape apart is that we generally focus on one installation project at a time. Once we begin your project, our goal is to stay committed until it is complete.

Because we also maintain water features for our existing clients, members of our crew may occasionally leave the jobsite for a scheduled maintenance visit once or twice per week. These visits are typically brief and planned in advance.

Aside from these service commitments, we do not begin other installation projects while yours is under construction unless unforeseen circumstances require us to do so.

Expect an Active Construction Site

Construction can be messy—and at times it may feel like a bomb went off in your yard.

You can expect:

  • Excavated soil, rocks, and materials staged around the property
  • Equipment, tools, and construction materials on site
  • Temporary pathways and work areas
  • Changing conditions as the project progresses

While we make every reasonable effort to keep the jobsite organized and safe, our priority is building your water feature correctly rather than making the site appear finished each day. As construction progresses, things often look worse before they look better.

Daily Cleanup

At the end of each workday, we will:

  • Organize materials as much as practical
  • Leave safe access to your home whenever possible

A perfectly clean jobsite each evening is not always realistic during construction, but we strive to maintain a safe and professional work environment.

Flexibility During Construction

Every project is unique. Hidden underground utilities, unexpected soil conditions, weather, material availability, or client-requested changes may occasionally affect the construction schedule. If anything arises that impacts your project, we will communicate with you promptly.

The Finished Product

The construction process is temporary, but the finished result is intended to be enjoyed for many years. We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout the process and are committed to delivering a water feature that exceeds your expectations.
